Anthony Lee Kian Seong

Executive Director

Anthony Lee Kian Seong is Executive Director at Sense Consultancy Group Sdn Bhd, a boutique Financial Public Relations (PR) and Investor Relations (IR) firm that he founded in 2015.

As Executive Director, Mr. Lee oversees the strategy and execution of  integrated IR and PR services for a prestigious array of clients. Sense Consultancy Group’s client base primarily comprises companies listed on Bursa Malaysia, the Nasdaq Stock Market and the Fortune Global 500.

Mr. Lee plays a pivotal role in managing communications and aligning expectations between the executive leadership and the investment community. He drives investor engagement through comprehensive media coverage, timely updates, and compelling narratives, with the goal of attracting institutional funds, analysts, and strategic partners to foster mutually beneficial relationships for his clients.

Mr. Lee possesses a distinctive skill for identifying hidden opportunities within the capital markets and effectively promoting them to the investment community. Over the years, he has been instrumental in facilitating valuable connections and business matchmaking opportunities for his clients. In addition, Mr. Lee has a track record of securing research report coverage and capturing the interest of new investors. Many of these clients, initially lesser known due to their relatively modest size and liquidity, have benefited from Mr. Lee’s expertise in expanding their visibility and reach.

A former journalist, Mr. Lee was a Business Presenter for BFM Caijin, a Chinese business news station, from 2021 to 2023. At BFM Caijin, Mr. Lee interviewed prominent fund managers, financial analysts, and other professionals from the financial community, exploring critical capital market issues in Malaysia and across the world.

Mr. Lee is highly regarded in the academic sphere as well. Since December 2019, he was appointed Industry Advisor for the Master of Communication (by Mixed Mode) programme at the Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman Malaysia’s Faculty of Creative Industries. In this role, he shares his extensive knowledge and expertise to help shape the next generation of communication professionals.

Prior to founding Sense Consultancy, Lee gained valuable experience through his work in two PR and IR firms from 2011 to 2014.

From 2008 to 2011, Mr. Lee was a Business Journalist at Star Publications (M) Bhd, the leading English daily in Malaysia. Mr. Lee began his career as a Business Reporter at Sin Chew Media Corp Bhd, Malaysia’s largest Chinese daily, where he worked from 2005 to 2008.

Mr. Lee holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) Degree from the University of Science Malaysia, which he obtained in 2005.

Tee Lin Say

Executive Director

Tee Lin Say is Executive Director at Sense Consultancy Group. Lin Say has served the Group in various capacities since its founding in 2014, first as an Advisor to the Group, then as a Partner. In 2023, Lin Say was named Executive Director of the Group.

At Sense Consultancy Group, Lin Say serves as a key liaison and counsel for the Group and its clients, managing strategic communications between C-Suite executives, Board Members and senior leadership of public-listed companies and the investment community.

Lin Say’s core role at the Group is to market these companies to the investing community. She works with the Group’s clients to develop and create compelling narratives, cutting through the noise with clear, distinct messaging to drive awareness and enhance the market value of these companies. Lin Say also connects the Group’s clients with potential strategic partners in the investment community such as funds, analysts, and private equity firms.

A former financial journalist, Lin Say brings to the Group a wealth of experience and deep connections from the financial world and media industry. From 2003 to 2020, Lin Say worked at Star Publications (M) Bhd, the leading English daily in Malaysia, where she last held the role of Assistant News Business Editor.

From 2019 to 2021, Lin Say was a contributor to Hong Kong-based China Daily, where she covered regional corporate developments and global financial personalities.

At The Star, Lin Say wrote extensively about small-cap companies, undervalued stocks, the real estate market in Malaysia, and major corporate developments. Lin Say was also the head of the Capital Markets section of The Star’s business news pullout, BizWealth. This gave her the opportunity to build relationships with influential business leaders and regional investment experts.

Lin Say graduated with an Upper Second-Class Bachelor of Economics Degree from the University of Malaya in 2001.

Alman Loong

Director, Hong Kong & China

Following a stellar career as a Financial Journalist, Alman Loong entered the public relations industry, where she has straddled the intersection of capital markets and media for more than 12 years. Ms. Loong manages public and financial communications, media relations and brand-building activities for a wide range of clients including government agencies, state-owned enterprises, and tech startups.

As a Vice President and Account Director at major local and international financial PR agencies in Hong Kong, Ms. Loong has established an extensive network of contacts in the financial media and investment community. Her roles encompassed strategic counsel, financial media relations, investor and analyst relations, IPO communication projects and event management.

Ms. Loong has worked with high-profile clients such as the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), the Hong Kong offices of Rostec and ALROSA, leading Canadian property insurer Intact Financial Corp., as well as tech startup Asia PropTech.

Before entering the public relations industry, Ms. Loong was a Financial Journalist for about a decade, working with The Standard and Ming Pao, two prominent newspapers in Hong Kong.

In 2007 while at The Standard, Ms. Loong’s work as a reporter was recognized with three awards from The Society of Publishers in Asia (SOPA) – The Scoop, Excellence in Business Reporting, and Excellence in Reporting Breaking News.

Ms. Loong holds a Master’s Degree in Corporate Finance from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. She is fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.

Yong Jing Wen

Director, Singapore

Ms. Yong is a Director at Woodnote Consulting, a Singapore-based financial communications and public relations agency. Woodnote Consulting is an emerging player in Singapore’s capital markets communications industry, offering bespoke communications advice to clients to create value for investors and the wider stakeholder base.

Ms. Yong began her career in 2015 at Financial PR, an investor relations firm with operations in Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan and China. At Financial PR, Ms. Yong developed compelling equity stories, engaged with investors and other stakeholders through meetings, press conferences, interviews and roadshows, performed equity and market research, and worked with media practitioners to elevate the profile and reputation of her clients.

With deep expertise in investor relations, public relations and corporate communications, Ms. Yong works with prominent SGX-listed companies in a diverse range of sectors including real estate, consumer, manufacturing, agriculture, technology, and healthcare. Ms. Yong has provided strategic counsel to C-Suite and Board Members of industry-leading companies including Kimly Group, Sheng Siong Group, Sasseur REIT, Yeo Hiap Seng, and RE&S Holdings.

Ms. Yong holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman in Malaysia.

Ow Puei Keng

Director, Creative Group

Ow Puei Keng is Director at Sense Consultancy Group overseeing all affairs related to the Group’s creative projects, brand identity development, content and marketing strategy for our clients.

Since 2010, Ms. Ow has been a Project Producer at Reina, a prominent creative studio and production house in Malaysia. At Reina, Ms. Ow oversees the conceptualisation, development and production of commercial videos,  as well as creative marketing and advertising strategies for a diverse range of clients.

With 18 years of experience managing creative projects, television productions and developing creative strategies, Ms. Ow has directed and co-produced commercial advertisements for renowned businesses including Capital A (formerly AirAsia Group), CIMB Bank, Bank Negara Malaysia, Tokio Marine, AmBank, Hitachi Malaysia, CapitaLand, The Mines, and Setia Group. She is also involved in the production of various business-related television programmes in Malaysia.

Ms. Ow’s career in broadcast television production includes a stint as an Assistant Producer at Astro Malaysia, where she was involved in the production of various infomercials as well as Malaysian satellite television programs ‘Taste with Jason’ and ‘Astro Classic Golden Melody.’ She served as Unit Production Manager for ‘The Wedding Diary (结婚那件事),’ a Malaysian-Singaporean film that was released in 2012. The success of ‘The Wedding Diary’ led to a sequel, ‘The Wedding Diary II,’  released in 2013.

Ms. Ow graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication from the University of Science Malaysia in 2004.
